The much bally-hooed 9 answers to 999 questions

None of the 9 questions and responses address the constitutionality.  According to the 16th amendment, a tax executed by the federal government will either be direct or indirect.  All direct taxes must be uniform.  Which means the same per head.  Which 999 is not.  All indirect taxes must be apportioned to each state according to population.  Which 999 is not.   Which means that it is unconstitutional. Of course, the current income tax as executecd by the IRS is also.  Federal courts have come out with conflicting and disingenuous interpretations of the income tax as being direct, indirect, and neither.

And if we are getting constitutional ammendments to keep things going, there are half a dozen more important ones.
