Colonel Mustard in the library

Nydia Margarita Velázquez is the U.S. Representative for New York’s 12th congressional district serving since 1993.

So for 10 years now the fine folks of district 12 have had the benfit of Rep. Velasquez’s representation in Congress.  Rep Velasquez announced to the press yesterday that she had never heard of Operation Fast and Furious.  This despite its being grudgingly reported in the press, on TV, and the multiple hearings held by the House of Representatives’ Judiciary Committee regarding the extent of the gun smuggling into Mexico and how far up in our government this might have gone and whether it might have been done as an effort by folks in our government to undermine the 2nd Amendment.   And that a US Border Patrol agent died because of our government’s actions  And also that Eric Holder, the US Attorney General has apparently perjured himself before Congress in his previous testimony.  And that there has been not just the lying but refusal to comply with subpeonas and apparant attempts to obstruct justice by both AG Holder and others in our government.

Perhaps Rep Velasquez is just too busy with her social schedule to keep up with things that are going on  in the House of Representatives.  Or finds it too complicated to keep up with all of the things that folks are getting all worked up over.  Like corruption in the government.  Or is too busy to deal about actually worrying about representation or usurpation of power.  Or a  death.

I have consolidated all of the required effort for her in the title of this piece.

Rep Velasquez, the phrase in the title is a clue.  Have one.
