Happy 2008

We are coming up towards the election and we are being carefully judas goated in to a choice between Obama and the 2012 version of McCain, Newt Gingrich.

A taller, plumper, smarter, more intelligent, more articulate version of McCain, sure, but it’s McCain all over again.  The big government guy as the only offered alternative to the bigger government guy.

Presbo versus Presbo-lite.

  1. thedrpete says:

    Gingrich is the wrong guy.

  2. drrik says:

Almost rather it be Presbo again,so that we may at least come to face the economic doomsday that the politicians have built, rather that prolonging the collapse. At least if we have to address it now, it will be easier to lay the blame on the inadequate political philosophy that has driven us here while it is still fresh in people’s thoughts, rather than have the message thoroughly obfuscated by the willing accomplices in the networks and papers.

    Trick question:

When is a big government RINO a better choice than a lib/prog?

    Answer

That is a non-sequiter that pre-supposes that there is a right answer.

  3. thedrpete says:

As of now, I choose Ron Paul.

  4. drrik says:

Have you totally written off Governor Johnson?

  5. thedrpete says:

Randy Johnson has failed to gain any name recognition or voter awareness. His “campaign” has been the sound of one hand clapping. So yes.

  6. drrik says:

Deucedly clever comment re: his first name.
