In 1981, at the age of 20, Presbo took a break from his studies at Columbia and did an around the world trip. He visited Pakistan.
Except that, as a US citizen, with a US citizen passport , he would not have been able to do so without special permission from the State Department, since in 1981, Pakistan was on the US State Department’s diplomatic list of countries that were not allowed for US citizens to travel to.
So how did he get into the country where travel by US citizens was prohibited, and then how did he get back into the US, with a US passport that showed he had been traveling to a country that was restricted?
Did he have a passport at the time that showed that he was a citizen of another country? Maybe he smuggled himself into Pakistan, and then back out. Sure that’s the ticket. Want to buy a bridge?
