A no good black

“This guy looks like he’s up to no good … he looks black,” said Zimmerman in the widely publicised 911 recording that NBC broadcast shortly after the shooting in Florida.  A racist killer on the prowl, and evident to anyone that heard this.  Enough to enrage an already angry minority population already on tenterhooks from the constant inflammatory rhetoric that they hear for their self-styled “leaders” that garner so much left-wing press.

Except that’s not what was said.  That is the edited, taken out of context version that NBC chose to chop up and air.  The actual exchange went a little differently.

Zimmerman: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.”

Dispatcher: “OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic?”

Zimmerman: “He looks black.”

Now why would NBC report on something in such a way that so many normal people would get a totally incorrect impression about what had been going on?  What is their advantage and motivation to so mislead the public?  NBC is owned by GE and therefore subject to the whims and commands of Jeffery Imeldt, the president of GE and Presbo’s jobs czar.  Does Mr. Imeldt KNOW that his subsidiary is reporting events in a way that will cause people to get angry and to create false impressions?  Does Presbo know that his jobs czar is running media information companies in a way that creates racial discord, anger, and crisis where there really need be none?  Stirring up the whole country unnecessarily and generating hostility and divisiveness in this period right before the November election?

Or is that the plan?
