If Obamacare stands without the mandate, per the AP, “the remaining parts of the law would have far-reaching impact, putting coverage within reach of millions of uninsured people, laying new obligations on insurers and employers, and improving Medicare benefits even as payments to many service providers get scaled back.”
New obligations on insurers and no new customers. New obligations on employers. Scaled back payments to service providers. That means lower payments to doctors who are not able to stay in business from what they are making from Medicaid currently.
In the remaining 2699 pages of Obamacare, Kathleen Sebelius will still be in charge and have hundreds of thousands of beaurocrats carrying out her orders and tens of thousands of IRS agents backing them up. So the single payer system will happen almost immediately, rather than over the several years that they had planned. Messier and with a lot of folks falling through the cracks. Government mandated control and private ownership and loss. Fascism at its finest.
Wonder if the Supremes will consider that?
