Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution states
The Congress shall have Power To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;
To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;
To provide and maintain a Navy;
To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;
To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;
Any waging of war and directing of our military to do so WITHOUT THE DECLARATION OF WAR BY CONGRESS is a clear violation of the Constitution and the powers delegated to the federal government. So when Presbo decided to wage undeclared war on Libya, he did so in clear violation of the Constitution. And when our military went along, they violated the same Constitution and became traitors to our republic, expending tax dollars and placing American lives in harm’s way that is not authorized by the Constitution of the United States.
They betrayed the Constitution that they swore to uphold. The republic still exists but it is not being defended. Instead it is being supplanted by a regulated oligarchy that pays lip service to the Constitution as long as it is convenient.
Mr. Romney intends to continue this fine new tradition.
