A lot of controversy over the UN arms treaty that Hillary and Presbo are so hot to have the US taking part in.
George Soros’s PR company, Media Matters is in full swing, broadcasting about how we have nothing to fear and its such a minor, routine thing, pro forma really. Almost just some silly paperwork. After all it isn’t going to affect Americans “owning” guns, within our borders. I could almost guarantee, that if I am in doubt about a political point, the path to liberty and freedom is to find out what direction Media Matters is pushing. And do the opposite.
But our Constitution protects us by preventing our government from interfering with our both keeping AND bearing “arms”.
The UN treaty says we, the United States, give up our sovereignty, and have to seek UN permission to sell arms to anyone else. It says that the UN, that bastion of ethics, will control the buying and selling of a “comprehensive list of weaponry” including most small and light arms. And the treaty says if we do not do what the UN desires they can label us a “human rights abuser” and “force” Congress to comply with the treaty. To comply with the treaty, we have to:
• Enact internationally agreed licensing requirements for US citizens here, now
• Confiscate and destroy unauthorized firearms of American citizens while allowing the U.S. government to keep theirs
• Ban the trade, sale, and private ownership of semi-automatic guns. Forget about paying the ATF a punitive licensing fee and then owning whatever you want
• Create and mandate an international registry to organize an encompassing gun confiscation in America
A long list and one that ends up SEVERELY restricting the relative freedom that we are under now with the voluntary registry, the fee-based license to carry, the whole areas of the country with arrest for any guns not just locked but also staying just within the four walls of your domicile. All keeping. No bearing.
We are already on the list for a conference this year to hammer out the wording for the final treaty. But nothing to worry about.
They have to sign it so we can find out what’s in it.
