The Welfare Reform Act that was passed by Congress in 1996 and signed into law by President Bill Clinton. At that time Senator Presbo voted against it. He didn’t like the idea that people had to eventually work. Now he has decided all by hissef that the work requirement no longer is part of the law.
There is no authority in the Constitution that allows the President to make laws or change laws that Congress has made. His power is limited to executing those laws, even the ones that he doesn’t like. When he does an executive order it is only legal if it is in pursuit of one of the 17 enumerated duties of the Constitution OR it is in the act of following one of the laws that Congress has passed.
Every person that is giving creedence to this illegal usurpation is in contempt of Congress. He doesn’t get to choose which laws to invent and which laws to abolish.
Only a dictator gets to do that
